Air Underwriting is the Wholesale trading department of RK Henshall & Co Ltd. The department began trading in 2005 as the preferred insurer partner of Novae Syndicate to promote their online per capita portal to the Willis Network panel of brokers.

We soon established a good reputation with our broker panel based on our service proposition. We developed good working relationships with a number of other underwriters who recognised our ability to act as a gatekeeper and to build profitable and sustainable accounts with them. We became Hensure Underwriting in 2007 and have traded under that name until recently rebranding to Air Underwriting in 2017 – A change which will allow us to continue to enhance our unique and fresh wholesale approach.

As mentioned, Air Underwriting is a trading style of R K Henshall and Co Ltd, a Chartered Insurance Broker with over 40 years experience of placing commercial business. Although the Underwriting Agency operates independently from the traditional client broking side of the business, we do share common values which allow us to understand the problems that brokers face in this competitive market, therefore we will work with you to get the best deal in terms of premium and cover for your clients.
